FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SEALIFE OFFERS COMPLETE DIGITAL CAMERA SYSTEM FOR ADVANCED UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
Divers can now capture professional-quality digital images of colorful marine life with the new SeaLife Reefmaster DC310 Pro Set. SeaLife, a company dedicated to producing quality underwater photography equipment designed with a diver's needs in mind, combines all the necessary tools for strikingly clear underwater digital photography in one package.
The ReefMaster DC310 Pro Set is a professional dive camera kit featuring SeaLife's new DC310 (3.3 megapixel) Land & Sea Camera, External Flash Unit, deluxe soft carrying case, special care kit and instruction booklet.
The ReefMaster DC310 internal camera features three operation modes, "Sea" Mode, "External Flash" Mode and "Land" Mode. In "Sea" Mode, the camera automatically adjusts exposure control to compensate for difficult underwater light conditions. Set in "External Flash" Mode, the camera automatically de-activates the digital pre-flash to prevent early activation of the external flash. In "Land" Mode, the internal camera can be removed from its housing and used as a high-end land camera.
In addition to offering advanced megapixel power (3.3 MP), the DC310 Land & Sea Camera features an updated ergonomic design and the new "Instant Review" function, enhancing the user's entire photographic experience, whether on land or at sea. Protected from water and pressure by a yellow, fully rubber-coated housing with black cushioned grips, for a soft, comfortable feel, the DC310 is waterproof and safe to a depth of 200 feet with a single, non-lube O-ring.
A key component of the Reefmaster DC310 Pro Set, SeaLife's External Flash features an innovative flexible arm that enable users to illuminate objects from different angles. By using the External Flash unit, users can significantly reduce annoying backscatter -- small particles in the water that reflect light and cause white spots to appear in the picture. The External Flash is activated via the on-camera flash, so no sync cord is necessary. SeaLife's External Flash is positioned 12 inches away from the camera's lens.
The DC310 Advanced Dive housing allows full access to all internal camera functions, enabling advanced photographers to make exposure and other adjustments without resurfacing. Photos can be composed via a large 1.6 inch, color LCD monitor on the back of each camera; or users can frame subjects through a top-mounted sports finder.
Other accessories in SeaLife's underwater dive camera set include a deluxe soft carrying case with adjustable shoulder strap, special SeaLife care kit and "Great Pictures Made Easy" instruction and tip booklet.
The new ReefMaster DC310 Pro Set will be available in dive and select photo stores nationwide in early spring 2003 for a suggested list price of $749.95. SeaLife products are manufactured in the U.S. at Pioneer Research, 97 Foster Road, Suite 5, Moorestown, N.J. 08057. Tel. 1-800-257-7742.
