The SeaLife SportDiver Ultra is a compact and lightweight underwater housing for smartphones.  The SportDiver Ultra housing will allow divers to take photos and video with their smartphone down to 130 feet or 40 meters.  The SportDiver can encase most Android models including all larger Samsung S Series Ultra models and Google’s Pixel range, and all iPhones from iPhone 8 through iPhone 16 Pro Max.  The free SportDiver App is available at the App Store or Play Store, and works with the current and prior generation of the OS.  Please review our SportDiver compatibility and fit guide. The heavy-duty housing is constructed of polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum and optical grade glass.  The SportDiver Ultra housing is “heavy duty”, but not heavy, weighing less than 1.78 pounds (808 grams), it is lightweight for travelling and offers almost neutral buoyancy in water depending on which smartphone model is used. Protect the display screen of your SportDiver Ultra housing The SeaLife SportDiver Ultra Screen Shield is a waterproof screen protector for compact cameras and housings with a diagonal screen size of 7.1″/ 180mm or smaller. The protective nano coating repels water, keeps the screen free of fingerprints and protects against scratches. This is especially important for the SeaLife SportDiver Ultra and many other housings, since they use a clear polycarbonate material that scratches from handling and abrasion. The SportDiver Ultra Screen Shield is cut exactly to the size of the SportDiver Ultra housing back, so extra trimming is not necessary. The Screen Shield is incredibly tough and durable and can also be used as a screen protector directly on your phone’s screen or other cameras or housings; this may require some cutting to the exact screen size of the device. Each package includes two screen protectors, dust removal tape, a cleaning cloth and easy to follow instructions. Designed for the SportDiver Ultra (SL405).

The 6”/15cm Wide Angle Dome Lens for the SeaLife SportDiver underwater smartphone housing increases the phone’s camera lens field-of view by 40% and allows photographers to get closer to the subject while fitting everything into the image frame. The new dome lens mounts directly to the SportDiver housing’s lens port without a lens adapter. The 0.71x dome lens requires no skill, training, or adjustment; simply mount it and shoot. Split shots that split the topside view with the undersea view are especially easy. There’s a safety lanyard included to keep the lens with the housing should it get bumped off. The dome lens design uses high-grade acrylic optics arranged in a 2-element/2- group array that delivers crisp edge-to-edge sharpness. The lens has a 15.6mm film-equivalent effective focal length when used, for example, with the SeaLife SportDiver and the iPhone 15 Pro’s 24mm “Ultrawide” camera lens. The lens is waterproof to 130ft/40m and is positively buoyant. The new 6”/15cm Dome Lens fits all SeaLife SportDiver housings. The dome lens includes a rotatable sunshade built around the optics to help control stray sunlight. The lens is a “wet lens” and can be attached and removed topside and underwater.

With SeaLife’s SportDiver Lens Adapter, 67mm and 52mm threaded lenses can be mounted to the SportDiver smartphone housing allowing the underwater photographer to expand their macro and wide-angle creativity by allowing most aftermarket lenses to be used with the SportDiver Smartphone housing. The precision lens adapter, constructed with hard anodized machined aluminum and stainless-steel hardware, mounts directly to the SportDiver’s lens port for a secure, solid fit. The adapter allows for easy horizontal and vertical lens movement adjustments to center the lens over the phone’s intended shooting lens. The adapter comes threaded with a 67mm opening for larger diameter lenses. A 52mm threaded ring is included for attaching smaller 52 mm lenses. For other lenses, a step-up or step-down ring may be obtained through dive photo or photography shops. SeaLife offers a 52mm 4-element 0.7x wide angle lens that fits onto the Lens Adapter; the new SeaLife 52mm Wide-Angle Dome lens (Item SL054) increases the phone lens shooting angle by 43%, allowing for a closer photography distance and improved edge sharpness. With the multitude of underwater aftermarket lenses and a wide variety of smartphone lenses available, underwater photographers now have virtually unlimited choices available to them. SeaLife recommends using wide-angle lenses with optical magnification between 0.5x and 0.75x, which allows closer shooting distances while fitting the subject into the image frame. Macro lenses will allow you to get closer to the subject while maintaining image sharpness. Due to the wide variety of smartphone phone lenses in the market, some lens settings may not be compatible. NOTE: SportDiver color filters cannot be used on lens port while lens adapter is mounted.  

The SportDiver Wide Angle Dome Lens for the SportDiver attaches to the Smartphone housing with its 52mm thread mount to the SportDiver SL081 Lens Adapter.  The lens also mounts to other underwater cameras and housings using a 52mm thread mount.    The increases the phone or camera’s field-of view by 43% and allowing photographers to get two times closer to the subject. The SportDiver Wide Angle Dome Lens design uses high-grade optics arranged in a 4- element/4- group array that delivers crisp edge-to-edge sharpness. The internal elements are fully multi-coated optical glass. The dome lens is optical polycarbonate with hard, anti-scratch coating. The lens has a 18.2mm film-equivalent effective focal length when used with a 26mm phone or camera lens. The lens is waterproof to 200ft/60m. The lens weighs 11.6 ounces (329 grams) and is negatively buoyant. A lanyard is included to prevent loss underwater, the lens threads on to the SeaLife SportDiver Lens Adapter (SL081).   The rotatable light shade prevents unwanted glare from external lighting or sunlight, as well as protect the dome lens from bumps and abrasion. Removable underwater color-correction filter for the SportDiver that reduces UV and excessive blue colors. The Yellow color filter is designed to restore natural underwater colors, or block blue light while using Fluoro or UV lights. The filter also serves as a protective cover for the SportDiver’s optical glass port. Compatible with the SeaLife SportDiver and SportDiver Ultra underwater smartphone housing. The filter easily attaches/removes to the SportDiver optical lens frame while underwater. Made of optical acrylic infused with proprietary color pigments. Includes lanyard for attaching filter to the housing. The SeaLife Large Gear Retractor is designed for mid-sized cameras and housings up to the size of the SeaLife SportDiver or DC-Cameras or similarly sized models. The large retractor is also perfect for larger hand held dive lights. The retractor offers a large 316 stainless steel snap clip that attaches to your BCD or vest. The retractor also features a quick-release clip feature that lets you remove quickly from the attached device. The large gear retractor extends to 42” (107cm) and has 12oz. (340g) of retraction force. The retracting cord has a 80lb. (36kg) breaking strength. The retraction system is self-flushing; the only maintenance needed is a thorough washing in fresh water.
